My Story - I have been wanting to photograph Nicaragua for a while and jumped at the chance to create a unique body of art for Rancho Santana. Being that it was my first time there, I photographed the landscape and ocean with childlike eyes. I felt confident that I had the final images after the first full day of shooting, though the additional 9 days, allowed me to go much deeper into the subject matter. It got to the point where it was difficult to sleep at night, as I was so amped up while creating this body of work. I specifically remember shooting the image “The moment I knew”, as that was when I fully lost myself during the shoot.
Art Show- In accordance with the property’s 20th Anniversary, She Hit Pause had a solo show at Rancho Santana’s Gallery, consisting of the 30 images. The show opened on January 25h 2018 (Opening Reception) – March 1, 2018
